Alyssa M
Alyssa, the one and Only
"Hello Alyssa." In the nursery room of the Modesto Hospital, Shannon Moran cradled her newborn, Alyssa Daniel Moran. She brought her home a few days later. It was her first look of her life.
"Happy 1st Birthday Alyssa!" Alyssa grabs a handful of cake and eats it with a smile. Then she plays with her sister, Katelynn Jane. Shannon gave Alyssa a pacifier witch she hands to Katelynn. This goes on for a while.
"Peek-A-Boo!" Alyssa was two now. Still hating pacifiers and always having a strict face. She didn't laugh often. She just cried a lot. But her "Terrible Twos" aren't as terrible as Katelynn's.
"Have fun Alyssa!" She was four and it was the first day of school. There were some tears. A lot of hugging. And a ton of kisses. But she can't love school more now.
"Thank you Alyssa." She had just helped Diego, a little kid in her second grade class, who was pushed to the floor. Alyssa helped him up because he had a hurt leg. She was six years old when it happened.
"Thank you Mom." Alyssa was on her way home from her birthday. She had spent the night in Disney Land with the Pughs. Alyssa had fun riding in the kiddie rides.
"Congratulations Alyssa." Alyssa had just earned her award for getting the highest score possible in the math portion of the state test. She got a certificate signed by the president. It was the greatest accomplishment she had in her eight years of life.
"How are you doing Alyssa?" Alyssa sat at Mrs. Soto's table. She was finishing up her autobiography. She ends it with nine years of age. But it is not done. There still is much more. Soon to be discovered.

Alyssa's Bumper Sticker
I chose my saying for my bumper sticker because my mom always tells me that I don't need sugar, I am sweet enough. If I had a dime for every time she said that, I would have at least 10 dollars.
