Why Baseball and Soccer are our Favorite Sports
Baseball is an amazing sport. It is in my blood... My dad played and my grandpa is a coach for girl's softball. I love the rush of excitement when I hit the ball, or when I steal a base. But my favorite part of is when I hit the ball into the outfield. I have that, "I DID that," kind of feeling! My favorite position is pitcher because you basically control the game. Without a pitcher you cannot play baseball. Everybody thinks you just hit the ball and catch the ball. No, it is not like that. My coach says, “It’s a game of inches....” By that he means you cannot stumble while running bases or you get thrown out at base.
Kushal likes soccer because he also likes the rush of kicking the ball or scoring a goal. Kushals favorite position in soccer is forward or as I call it “the scorer.” Kushal also likes to run and get the ball to pass the ball to a teammate to score a goal. But most of all, we both like sports to stay fit and enjoy sports as much as we can because some people don’t have the choice to play or cannot afford it.

Snow Sledding Gone Wrong
“Ok,” I said to myself at the top of the snow hill. I slipped into my snow tube. I am nervous, and my whole body was shaking. I looked back and my mom had her hands on my tube. I said, “what are you doing!”
She said, “nothing.”
“You're lying,” I shouted.
She said, “I know,” then she pushed me down the hill. I screamed as hard as I could the whole way down. When she finished sledding down the hill I had a mad look on my face. When I saw her she had a smile on her face. Next time I'll make sure she went first. I put my hand on her tube, looked at her and said, “payback,” then pushed I pushed her as hard as I could on her tube. On the way home she threw a snowball at me. I did not care because I had a smile on my face.
