Congrats! New Minted Softball Player!
Welcome to the team. You're in a great team that will help you develop your skills. It will teach you how to hit ground and pitch. In order to be successful , you need to do what the other Softball players do every day.
Here are the seven best ways so you can be successful in the future
1.) Eat a lot.
You don't need to be in shape to play, eat a lot! Pig out, eat donuts, Chocolate, candy, drink soda, drink or eat every thing, Go to McDonalds! No one going to care. Every day you should be gaining ten pounds.
2.) Don’t field the ball
You want to be a great infielder, miss the ball. If the ball is hit to you get out of the way and watch it go by. Make your out fields work for you, they're the ones who really need it.
3.) Hitting your spots when you pitch
Not every coach is right, if he calls an inside pitch, throw an outside pitch. If he calls a drop, throw a rise. Your coach would be so proud of you for avoiding his calls.
4.) Don't make the proper outs
If you get the ball take your time to get the ball and slow down your motion and make the attempt to throw when the runner is already safe.Your team is going to cheer you on because of it.
5.) Pretend you dont know whats going on
The plays at third base, but you really want to go to first base. Play it off like you didn't know. Yell at your teammate to go to first base when the play is at third base no one would care all that matters is that you make the out.
6.)Watch the ball drops
IF you see a fly ball hit to you move out of the way and watch it drop. The best excuse to use if your coach asked why'd you dropped it is The sun was in my eyes. The only time you can say that is if the sun is really up.
7.) Making contact with the ball
When you are in the batters box you want to make sure you swing at everything and you want to make sure you you strike out. If your coach pulls you outside and tells you make contact next time, just smile and say ok, so when it is your time in the batters box again strike out.

My Most Embarrassing Moment
Every year there is a Mad Scientist Assembly. My most embarrassing moment happened at this assembly when I volunteered to sit on a gravity plate that lifts you up when the air pressure pushes up. I had really long hair down to my butt and I had to put on ear muffs so that I couldn't hear anyone. When the scientist started up the machine, my hair got stuck in the motor and the scientist stopped it. My teacher came up and helped get my hair out. I heard a teacher say to get scissors, but I told her, “No!, and then my fourth and fifth grade teacher helped get my hair out of the motor. After that, my hair was a mess. When I walked back to my seat the other kids acted like I couldn’t hear them, but of course I could. I heard one kid say, “Oh My Gosh, look at her hair, It is so messed up.” I felt stupid, but I didn't cry. I just brushed it out and then it was all better.
