The History of Madison Square Garden
In this paper, I will tell you about the history of Madison Square Garden. Then, I will list some of the facts about the performers there and other really cool stuff.
The current Madison Square Garden was opened February 11, 1968, after the Pennsylvania Railroad was tore down. The structure (which was considered new at the time) was the first of its kind to be build above the platforms of an active railroad. The Garden was and is located at Pennsylvania Plaza, named after the Pennsylvania railroad.
In 1991, the owners of the Garden decided to spend $200 million to renovate facilities and place 89 suites in place of hundreds of upper tier. Ellerbe Becket was the designer of this project.
The fastest sellout of Madison Square Garden was when Taylor Swift performed in 2009. She sold out of tickets in exactly 60 seconds!
John Lennon’s final concert appearance was in Madison Square Garden just before his murder in 1980.

My Bumper Sticker
I chose this picture do show how I would rather be at cheer practice than doing my laundry or any chores at all. It also show that I love cheer and want to do it every day.
Word Of The Day - Pet
The word pet reminds me of my great grandpa's dog, Patsy.
Patsy has been with my great grandma ever since I remember. Patsy is a whitish/ brownish shiz tu and is so ugly, she's cute. She has crusty eyes, makes weird noises, and has in all 3 teeth.
My great grandma, Jane, passed away in 2010, Patsy was all that my great grandpa, Warren, had. She comforted him, because she was Jane's prized possesion. She reminded him of her, and he just needed the memories.
People in my mom's side of the family came to "visit" my great grandpa. Once he fell asleep, they would steal Jane's expensive jewelry, and attempted to steal the dog to sell at a yard sale!
My great grandpa passed away in 2012. My household family got Patsy. Now, Patsy is excepted into the family and is mom's little ugly angel.

Word Of The Day - Explore
The word "explore" reminds me of my visits to Maine. When I go to Maine, we explore what they call "Ba Haba." With their funny accents, this is their way of saying "Bar Harbor." They pronounce things weird. For example you might say: I drove to the ba in my ca to see a star. Bar Harbor is pretty much a boardwalk. Some fun things found there are shops, the beach, and ice cream parlors.
We also explore the food there. Since we are by the ocean where I visit, we eat seafood almost every lunch and dinner. Most of the food my uncle Derick and my uncle Erik catches. You get to try out lots of lobster, muscles, oysters, clams, and crabs. I didn't like any of it.
